| Articles: A Part Of You Passes With Your MotherA Mother’s love is truly unquestionable. A Mother’s love for her child is special. It is a love that is born at birth and does not fade for eternity. A Mother’s relationship is quite personal. From conception we grow in our Mother’s womb. For 9 months we are as one with her. Therefore, it can truly be said, that we are a part of her. We are soul partners from the start. The bond between a Mother and her child should stand the test of time. We will not attempt to stereotype. Unfortunately there are situations in life that are not as would we like them to be. But for the vast amount of children, such as myself, our Mother was our moral foundation. Our healer of pain, both mental and physical, the gentle hand that guides us through life. A Mother gives so much of herself for her children. She shares your pain, from every scratch, to every heartbreak that you encounter. Her concern for your welfare does not lose its luster when you are grown. She will never be sustained from sleepless nights worrying about your condition. Therefore, it can certainly be expressed, that a part of you passes with your Mother. When you lose your Mother, emptiness seems to embrace your heart and soul. Emptiness so vast that it can never again be filled. With the passing of your Mother your internal flame begins to diminish ever so slowly. You realize without hesitation that you have not just lost a Mother, but a life long guardian angel as well. Every Mother is different. Although their basic instinct is the same, their individual qualities form the bond that supports the family foundation. When I lost my Mother, I was immediately confronted with the realization that I would never be able to hold a conversation with her again. My Mother and I had many great discussions over the years. Most of these chats surrounded her youth and the hardships of growing up during the great depression. Her stories instilled in me great pride and admiration. I will carry them in my heart and mind as long as blood streams through my veins. My Mothers faith was unrelenting until the last breath drifted from her body. She passed that faith onto us. My Mother was always there for me. She had a smile that could warm a soul and she had a special way of making you forget your problems with one simple embrace. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of her. I will miss her for all the remaining days of my life. It has been said that a Mother could be forever rewarded for a lifetime of loving support with one, “I love you” from her child. A Mothers gratification can be seen in her eyes as her children grow up and are successful in life. Mothers can never be shown enough appreciation to equal the support they have given in a lifetime. However, many people such as myself have expressed our undying appreciation of our Mothers in the form of poetry. This expression of our love helps to ease our loss. The sharing of our feelings and emotions with others who loved their Mothers just as much, allows us to give back a little of ourselves. You have the opportunity now to join us on a journey through words of appreciation for Mothers lost. Perhaps your soul will be touched. Perhaps a new bond will be formed, the mutual understanding that a part of you passes with your Mother. Graduation: A Shared Journey Of DedicationIt has been implied by some that there is no longer a desire among our young people to graduate. This may be a matter of debate for some but it could not be further from the truth. Since the birth of educational facilities there have always been those who committed themselves to the journey of graduation and others who have fell to the wayside. The reasons that some students choose to stay the course while others drop out; is not as simple to define as you might think. It is not because one is smart and the other not so smart. It comes down often times to support and the conditions that consume their lives. Graduation requires dedication, not just from the student, but also from everyone involved in the journey. Dedication is the driving force that carries students to their education reward on graduation day. This journey requires support and dedication from many other participants. It begins with the availability for support and dedication from the parents. The successful road to graduation is reliant on the parents making the right choices for their children’s educational future. Parents play a huge roll in developing the proper educational study habits for their children. It is a proven fact that homes where parents openly support their children’s pursuit of education enhance the possibility that those children will graduate. The process may begin at home but of course it is not limited there. The teachers in our educational facilities play a major role in the successful educational journey of our children. These teachers have to be dedicated to the cause of teaching as well as inspiring and motivating students to succeed. The teachers in our system have a rough road to hoe. They are underpaid and are held to high expectations. However, they have the opportunity to mold the minds of educational hopefuls. The success of the educational journey depends on good teachers having focus and dedication. Their role in the process can never be underestimated. Of course in the end it does require immense dedication from the students to reach the goal of graduation. It is not an easy journey. It takes years of focus and determination. For this reason the accomplishment of graduation is remarkable and well earned. It deserves justifiable praise and delivers great pride in those who have shared the journey. The day of graduation drums up many emotions and feelings that seem to consume ones soul. There are many such as myself who express those emotions in the form of poetry. Poetry derives from the heart and is meant to be shared with those you love. At Poemvidz.com they work hard to offer you poetry about graduation that touches the heart and soul. Explore these poems and find one that speaks from your heart as well. Poetry: A Principal It takes someone special To walk this road so wary This job that ask for so much And takes so much of you
Your job may be underestimated Second guessed a time or two Hard decisions must be made A firm voice sometimes needed
They don't often cheer for you But your job has inspired so many You've chose to be a motivator Their education your reward
Mom, Where Are You Mom, where are you I can't see you any more I don't know what to do I feel so insecure
You were always there To mend my every pain Broken hearts and despair And bruises all the same
Thought I knew sadness I never had a clue My pain close to madness Now that I lost you
Not a day goes by You're not on my mind On this you can rely I'll love you for all time
